Fabric Expansion Joints

RADCOFLEX fabric expansion joints are manufactured from the latest fluoro-polymer based heat sealable fabric materials. These materials combined with insulation layers as necessary can provide joints with temperature ratings up to 1000°C.

The fabric can be used as a flat belt or integrated with flanges or pipe hardware to create an expansion joint to absorb movements and misalignments in ductwork. Once measured and cut to suit the application or ductwork, the fabric can be heat seal joined to form a continuous belt.

RADCOFLEX fabric expansion joints can be manufactured in circular, square or rectangular shapes and are in accordance with the guidelines of the Fluid Sealing Association (FSA) Non-metallic Ducting Expansion Joints.

Chemseal

CHEMSEAL is generally used as the flexible membrane in fabric expansion joints. The fabric has been especially developed for wet and corrosive applications and exposures, including high acid areas where the dew point is reached within 24 hours, such as energy refuse and wet scrubber service.

CHEMSEAL consists of a PTFE coated fibreglass composite fabric to which has been laminated a latest technology corrosion liner. The composite fabric is the load bearing component. The 100% PTFE corrosion liner has a multi directional strength and durability, allowing it to function as a thick PTFE barrier for corrosive chemicals while maintaining a crack-free and flexible surface.

Dryseal

DRYSEAL is generally used as the flexible membrane in fabric expansion joints. The fabric has been especially developed for moderate duty flue gas service. Whilst this product is not recommended for wet acid applications, the gas barrier does provide the fabric with chemical and temperature exposure capabilities.

DRYSEAL consists of a PTFE coated fibreglass composite fabric to which has been laminated on one side of the fabric a latest technology gas seal barrier. The composite fabric is the load bearing component. The gas seal barrier is flexible, durable and crack resistant enhancing the working life of the product.

Dryseal-C1

DRYSEAL - C1 is generally used as the flexible membrane in fabric expansion joints. The fabric has been especially developed for high temperature, mechanically demanding flue gas applications. Whilst this product is not recommended for wet acid applications, the gas barrier does provide some external corrosive resistance.

DRYSEAL - C1 consists of a non-woven fibreglass insulation mat laminated to a durable outer cover to form a single membrane. The outer cover consists of a PTFE coated fabric and a latest technology gas seal barrier which has been laminated to one side of the fabric. The single membrane construction minimises the formation of hot spots, and because the insulation mat is mechanically bonded to the outer cover component, it acquires the tensile strength properties of the outer cover.
